Custom Builds
Goudkade Guitars are handmade in Amsterdam from carefully selected wood and by using the best hardware and pickups available. I take my main inspiration from the electric guitar designs from the 50’s and 60’s, but I am certainly not stuck in that era.
Each guitar is finished with shellac, a natural lacquer that is also used on violins. This finish does not suffocate the wood, allowing the instrument to resonate beautifully. Shellac wears easily when the guitar is played a lot. And that is a good sign.

Repairs & Setup
Apart from custom builds I offer repair and setup services, from a simple change of strings to a full re-fret or wiring adjustment.
